Halonex® Cable
OXS-C2W
Index
Halonex® Cable
Halonex® Cable is a high-grade dual core Polymer Optical Fiber for reliable, high-speed indoor data networks. Lightweight, flexible and fully immune to electromagnetic interference, it installs easily in cable ducts, wall pipes or alongside power cables.
With a fully polymer, metal-free design, Halonex® Cable is safe, durable and future-ready. It forms the reliable foundation of the Halonex® network, delivering a smart, simple and sustainable alternative to copper, built to support tomorrow’s optical standards.

Features
Duplex data
Consisting of 2 fibers (Tx/Rx); marking on 1 fiber
Small size
Two 2.2mm fibers, easy to install
Fiber marking
One of the 2 fibers is marked to identify each fiber
High-speed data
Suitable for 1 Gbps data rate with existing Halonex® and Optolux® active components
Robust
Mechanical robust cable
No radiation, not sesceptible to electromagnetic interference
Easy to install
Light-weight, flexible, small diameter
Compatibility
Fully compatible with Halonex® and Optolux® product ranges
High data speed
1 Gbps data transfer in combination with Halonex® and/or Optolux® active components
Fiber marking
Purpose
One of the 2 fibers of the Halonex® Cable is marked for identification so each fiber can be distinguished over the full length of the cable.

Marking color
The regular cable has one fiber with dark marking (see image). A complementary cable with identical performance characteristics, has a light marking.
The complementary cable is typically used in situation where more than one POF cable is used in the same ducting, and allows to distinguish between the 2 cables.
