The increase in robotics and automation on the floor requires smart buildings and smart infrastructure. This makes the implementation of new technology much easier and, more importantly, much faster. To be able to integrate all these new solutions, one crucial element is needed: a lightning-fast and stable network connection.

A great example of how this is applied in practice is the Hello World project. Hello World is undoubtedly one of the flagship projects at Schiphol Trade Park in Hoofddorp. The logistics hub, fully operational since March 2023 by logistics service provider Rapid Logistics, spans over 47,000 square meters. During the development of the project, Delta Development opted not for standard fiber optic cables for data connectivity within the halls but for Polymer Optical Fiber (POF).
