QuickConnect makes installation straightforward. The thin POF cable forms a ring connecting all required points. Each module regenerates the signal and provides one or more local RJ45 connections.

Determine the connection points
Create a simple ring design based on the layout and required equipment.

Install the POF cable
Run one lightweight duplex cable past the modules, even through existing conduits and confined spaces.

Cut, click and connect
Cut the cable cleanly, insert it into the easy-lock port and connect the equipment via RJ45.

What types of projects is the kit designed for?
Small and medium-sized indoor network projects with up to 20 RJ45 connection points, such as stores, offices, hospitality venues and compact business premises.
Can QuickConnect be used alongside an existing UTP network?
Yes. The solution can be introduced in phases and used alongside existing Ethernet infrastructure. Equipment continues to connect via RJ45.
Does the kit support Power over Ethernet?
Yes. Depending on the version, the Halonex® Box Module 2 supports PoE or PoE+. The Box Module 4 is designed for data connections without PoE.
Do I need specialist tools?
No. The POF connection requires no splicing equipment or complex connectors. The included cutter ensures a clean, straight cable finish.
What if I need more than 20 connection points?
FiberUnlimited will create a suitable configuration from the complete Halonex® portfolio, including distribution switches and additional modules.
