It includes a cross-docking center to streamline 24-hour deliveries, a large warehouse to boost storage capacity, and the Melis Academy, where new logistics professionals are trained and experienced drivers receive advanced training.

Built for the future, and built to last

From the outset, Melis Logistics set high ambitions for the new building. It was designed to meet the international BREEAM Outstanding standard — the highest possible rating for sustainable construction — reflecting a deep commitment to environmental responsibility. But the vision extended beyond certification. This facility had to be adaptable, efficient, and technologically prepared for the evolving logistics landscape.

A smarter, sustainable network

To support these ambitions, Melis chose FiberUnlimited for the internal digital infrastructure. At the heart of the solution is our Polymer Optical Fiber (POF), a flexible, easy-to-install alternative to traditional fiber or copper cabling. Combined with our OptoLux® modules, the network enables:

Seamless integration with TRILUX and Dosky Tech Solutions

One of the key advantages of POF is the ease of integration. In this project, the FiberUnlimited network was installed directly alongside the TRILUX light rails, enabling the entire infrastructure to be operational within just a few days, without disruption to construction timelines.

Installation was carried out by our partner Dosky Tech Solutions, ensuring expert execution and seamless delivery.
